Potpourri - $79, sold

With the use of transtint dyes, multi-coloring is very easy. Edged with swedish rush and pods!

Zuni - sold

This I learned in a Judy Richie class - I love the patina as well as the deep carve.

Low Tide sold
Again, the deep carving technique taught by Judie Richie. Tree moss embellishes!

The blue bowl
webassets/1000162.jpg
I love this baby blue on this dark gourd. SOLD

I am not an item painter.  I prefer to work with colors, textures, natural embellishments, and some whimsical items.  Finishes are important to me - different colors require different finishes in order to enhance the color itself.  If I am not content with the color combinations that occur, I will continue to add color, or simply sand away or paint over and begin again.  There is no right or wrong - but some results make me happier than others!

My first bowl
